A few weeks ago i picked up a new mascara and as you can tell from the title, it was the Colossal Volume one from Maybelline. Before this one, i had the Falsies one also from Maybelline and i loved it, but this one was drying out and i decided to go for the Colossal Volume because loads of people had recommended it and swore by it as their holy grail mascara.
Let's get one thing straight, i hated it. I really don't know what the big deal about it is. What also made me go for it was that the brush was very similar to the one of the Falsies, but its not. The brush is so much skinnier, a lot more curved so i found it a lot more harder to get all of my lashes coated.
Now the formula, oh geez, it's very wet which also adds to the difficulty of applying it along with the brush. I'm also finding clumps. Yes i know, clumps. I just.. no. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who doesn't like wet formulas of skinny brushes.
I think it needs a bit of getting used to because of the brush and formula but overall im not impressed Maybelline. Not impressed.
